Professional Courses - Obtain your License

ASHI means "foot"

ATSU means "pressure"

Ashiatsu is a massage technique performed by a therapist using bare feet to create deep compression strokes over the body.

Bars are used to ensure support and balance.

This technique is one of the deepest and most relaxing massages possible and is fun to learn.

Your last deep tissue of the day will be as good as your first.

After 15 years to perform deep tissue massages, I started to feel a lot of pain in my wrist , thumbs and neck and I was looking for a technique that helped me to do what I love and keep my profession growing. I found Ashiatsu and I discover an amazing way to keep helping people with my job without compromising my body. I started to work smarter and educating others to do the same .

Ashiatsu is the deepest massage you can experience. Indicated for athletes and sore tissue patients looking to get a therapeutic massage and a deep relaxation for the body and soul. My Studio is located in Pompano Beach Florida USA, where I also teach other Massage Therapists from Florida and around the world. My classes give the opportunity to obtain 20 Continuous Educational Hours. With my portable bars I can travel as well to other cities to teach and/or participate in events and private parties.

To be a practitioner of Barefoot Therapy Massage (Ashiatsu), you need prior massage professional training and license as required in your jurisdiction. Those who manipulate soft tissue without appropriate license may be subject to high fines and legal actions. I like to make that clear because I receive many phone calls from people that want to learn this modality, but unless your profession allows soft tissue manipulation like massage therapists, chiropractors or physical therapists, (if it’s legally part of their professional scope of practice), you are not allowed to practice this with your clients.

My class provide 20 hours of continuous education toward your license renew, and it’ss two days of 90 % hands on, (or I must to say Feet On!). I cover the fundamentals of Shiatsu, history, benefits and contraindications. In only one weekend you learn Anterior and Posterior technique.
